Finally brought my grandpa's .38 spc into a gun shop to have it checked out. Service weapon of a small town cop. Guy said the only wear on it was from riding in the holster. My first handgun, exited to put some rounds through it!

Bought my wife a Colt Cobra 38 sp. Fits her pretty good. She just renewed her ccl Saturday using my XD9 sub compact. Made a 100%. Guess I better not make her mad.

I've been looking hard at an LCR in .327 Federal.....

My desire as well. Hard to get and higher priced. I love my .327 SP101.

Youd like the one i got Jim. Adjustable sights. I could have gone a little lighter on the trigger, but it shoots nice.
Stock grip is whimpy, easy change.

Indeed. Lightened it up on the main. I can do the return as well too, but it seems fine where its at.

I have a sp101 in 357 and a gp100 and would like to lighten them up.

Have been worried about reports of light primer strikes.

Have you experienced any problems?

Yessir, wolf kit.
Comes with a few choices of springs, easy to do. YouTube can help, but i bet it aint your first rodeo. No light strikes yet, several hundred rounds. I know 9lb sounds heavy, but its not. Thats on double action.

I have an old K 38
Model 15-3 38sp that i love.
Little water bottle at 50 feet, squirrel at 30-40. Love how it shoots.
My Ruger Security 6 is close behind it, but longer barrel, so of course it shoots good.

Just watched The Rough Riders with Tom Berenger as Teddy, and was blown away by the range of antique Gatling guns n cannons n mortars they used to storm San Juan Hill, against superior German weaponry.

One helluva good movie.
