Yeah, the sugars are astoundingly big. We are right at the extreme northern end of the range for the species, but I've worked in them on temp duty assignments in years past.
I don't know of any injury stats associated with them.
They grow big, for sure.
This one was in the grove of Sequoias we played around in last year.
I wanted to climb a sugar pine, but since they were "only" part of the understory in the grove, we never got around to doing it
There were simply too many Sequoias and not enough time.
