Why do they good folks at arborwear make some cool shirts with those little stupid front pockets??

did my laundry yesterday, forgot to empty that stupid little pocket ( again...):(

entire wash was covered with chips...
BAH!!!!

they suck, too small to put anything in, shit falls out if you do, why even put it on there??
besides, it looks retarded and geek-like anyways.:P

there, rant over, wanted to post something new to get this new house in order.

heading out to do an estimate soon, my type of job, customer-" All we want is it down to a four foot or so stump, we will cut it up and look after getting rid of the wood and debris":D

just climbing and rigging, BOO YEAH baby!

No sleeves rock!

My wife mostly buys my tees. She learned a long time ago that tees with sleeves will have to go back. I dunno, they just feel weird.

I have contemplated cutting the pockets off my work shirts, without a button on the top or a flap they are useless!
I've lost at least three pairs of shades from the pocket....not to mention the chip collection feature

ever find your rig-kit Fiona? and do you still climb in the treemagic?

how is it for a little female climber?? Lou has a Petzl on the way, but if it doesn't work out, she will still be looking.

i dont have the arbor wear shirts but i like a front pocket
yeah it holds chips, but it can also hold your smokes
if your smart enough to put your lighter in the pack
or a cell phone, if you climb with 1

which is handy on those view easment jobs

I love those pockets. They're great when your working on something with small parts. Just put it in your pocket so you don't loose it. Unless you bend over.

I jam my reading glasses in the tee shirt pocket sideways. It eliminates them falling out when you lean over. I just have to remember not to lean on them. They are just cheapies anyway, but I still don't like loosing them. I can hold on to a pair for a year or two. Have to remember not to put anything hard in the pocket with them or they get scratched.

I grew accustomed to pocket t shirts during my 25 years of smoking. Wouldn't buy or wear a t shirt without a pocket. Now that I haven't smoked in 7 years I'm still used to pocket t's, although I'm not sure why.

I usually hit the shop and use the air gun to blow off my arms, neck and hair. I also use it to knock the sawdust out of my pockets and off my boot laces before taking my work clothes off.

I reckon Cary meant pockets when climbing...I agree, they suck!

No rig kit yet...boo, hoo...
I climb regularly in a Butterfly original, I've liked it from the day I got it and its going on 7yrs old now.

Tree Magic gets used occasionally, usually at home when I have to go up on the roof, I find both just fine, although the tree magic has more adjustment options for different curves in different places!
The bridge is adjustable for length, the waistband is adjustable, as is the distance of the leg loops from the waistband. The magic needs to have the leg loops ride lower than I'm used to with the b'fly, to be comfortable.

Yep, pocket tees sucky for tree work. I even think pocket'd jeans suck. I wish they had zippers or something. There's nothing more of a pita than trying to find a place in the house to shake your jeans upside down into. I've used the bath tub, and window in the past.

PITA

What is stressin' Brent, all the rain out there drowning yer beans??? ;)

I've been wearing Carhartt pocket Ts forever. I have to have someplace to put my keys when I go in someplace. Front pocket hoody in the colder months. I like having my pockets full of sawdust. Don't know why, always leave a pile behind at the counter when I dig for change.

ha ha ha!! tried calling you back, give me a shout tomorrow, bout 8 pm or so my time .

Yeah chips in the T pocket is a PIA, a flap with a snap or velcro would be nice then I could carry my cell phone where I can feel it vibrate or ring. The pant side pocket is also a PIA for chips and missing a call while working in noisey conditions.

Willard.
