fair enough... we could all benefit from not taking ourselves or anyone else too seriously. the whole speck of dust reference was that we are all insignificant in the scope of time and space.

Just Daniel taking his megalomania out for a walk.
You, Mick, are just a speck, whereas Daniel is the one in the know.

That all the stuff he "knows" about us being bred by aliens, the lizard people etc. is complete nonsense to the rest of us doesn't matter.

That is the fine thing about megalomania.
Up to a point it is, but it’s too funny to ignore.
My lord ! Is there no safe space away from you 2 birds and the constant whining / spewing of venom and mediocre trolling that seems to follow you both like a shadow thru thread after thread?

Well, you could go off to one of those countless forums, where they welcome you with open arms, I suppose.

Well , maybe you can start your own “For Anti-conspiracy theory only” thread and We will come over and stink it all up for you like you do here. :greetings:

physicist Erwin Schrödinger maintained, " there is a tendency to forget that all science is bound up with human culture in general and that scientific findings, even those which at the moment appear to be the most advanced and esoteric and difficult to grasp are meaningless outside their cultural context. A theoretical science, unaware that those of its constructs considered relevant and momentous are destined eventually to be framed in concepts and worlds that have a grip of the educated community and become part and parcel of the general world picture- a theoretical science, I say, where this is forgotten and where the initiated continue musing to each other in terms that are, at best understood by a small group of close fellow travelers, will necessarily be cut off from the rest of cultural mankind: in the long run, it is bound to atrophy and ossify however virulently esoteric chat may continue within its joyfully isolated experts.

The scientific picture of the real world around me is very deficient. It gives a lot of factual information, puts all our experiences in a magnificently consistent order, but it is ghastly silent about all and sundry that is near and dear to our hearts, that really matters to us. It cannot tell us a word about red and blue, bitter and sweet, physical pain and physical delight; it knows nothing of beautiful and ugly, good and bad, God and eternity. Science often pretends to answer questions in these domains but the answers are very often so silly that we are not inclined to take them seriously. (nature and the Greeks 1954)

below is a bit of transcription from the above video.
"The Denisovans appear to have a bit of DNA which doesn't
correspond to either Neadrathal or homo sapien, so from that, we can legitimately
infer that there was another species that we don't have any physical remains
for we call this a mystery human or a phantom species and we know that this
mystery human interacted had gene flow events with the Denisovans because the
Denisovans carry that that genetic information we may know what species
that is we may have that those bones but we've never got DNA out of them so until
we find until we get DNA out of those bones it remains a phantom species so
there is a picture of the last million years of human evolution as we now know it."

There you go Mic.. The "Phantom species" may be aliens from another planet. That is a true possibility.

This is an excerpt from some psychologist or other about conspiracy theories and the people who spread/believe them. There’s a link to the whole article but here’s one of the profiles of people who use them

Remind you of any two people you know?

Combine that with Dunning-Krüger syndrome and we have a picture of our Murph.

Narcissistic personality disorder is found more commonly in men. The cause is unknown but likely involves a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
Symptoms include an excessive need for admiration, disregard for others' feelings, an inability to handle any criticism and a sense of entitlement.
The disorder needs to be diagnosed by a professional.
