chip box, steel or aluminum?

If you end up with a f350 you should definitely go aluminum. I had 17.5K gvw so had some room to work. As it stands now I've got 6k + to work with an empty truck hauling the chipper, so the steel isn't terrible, although my tranny isn't too stoked I'm sure

Aluminum isn't that big of a deal, it floors me that folks down there don't do both

You still planning on a service body with dump insert? If so check out http://truckcraft.com/ . They make some just for that purpose.

Thanks man- great link! I like the look of their stuff. If I remember I'll call tomorrow and see if they have anyone in SoCal that can do the installs. I like the look of their trucks. Hopefully they can help a brotha out
