Keith, you know about the unread posts button at the top right of every page? Also left side of each thread title is a button that takes you to your first unread post of the thread?

Just back from a work/learning experience in MD with David Driver and crew, Bixler, and Lawrence from NY. Had a great time and learned a ton, got to share a few things. Matt D. that works for David has tried joining the House and has been unable to. I believe I had to try a bunch of times myself but I figured it was just me because I was new to computers. Bonner, could you help him get set up?

Not sure Butch. He said he had tried and had enough trouble that he thought he might have been blocked from joining. I said I was certain that was not the case as you want new people. ( He is a great guy.) I know Nick knows him from the Buzz and from splicing.

The majority of my life, the most adventurous, the most romantic, the most productive, was lived without a camera, a computer, or a cell phone. There are some photos, but I'm by nature a private person, and choose to let it all keep rattleing around in my old head, and relive it at my own pace, in my own time. I came here to learn, and have not been disappointed by the warm reception, or the knowledge shared. Momma said the bigger the mouth the better it looks closed, I still keep that advice........Bill

Hahaha...I think I like your Momma. Those old sayings are always fun to hear.

That's kind of like I told my daughter once: Just because you can think it doesn't mean you should say it.

I wonder what his "trouble" is? I activate new people all the time - most remain mute.

It took me over a year to register. I would try every so often and it wouldnt work, Butch you tried a few times for me before it worked.

Electronics, can't live with em' - can't live without em'!

Awesome time Merle, great to see you back in the House. Good idea too... I'll do what I can to make sure Bonner squares things up, I'd like to see MattyD join also.

Or... if you would help him Bixler, or Butch or... I just asked Bonner because I think Nick already knows Matt and knows a bunch about computers etc.. Every new thing I go to do takes asking for help and or a bunch of time and failed attempts.

Thanks for the welcome back. My wife was giving updates of our work and activities to my 17 year old stepson while we were away and he said, “Man if I had a cool name like Bixler I wouldn’t let people call me anything else.”

Yeah great time. My favorite way of being around people is to accomplish good work with good people.

I really don't know why you cull the zero posters Butch. I have had people on Arbtalk who havent posted at all since registering, then 5 years later out of the blue they start posting and you can't shut them up :D

Haha thanks, luck of the draw I guess. I gave Bonner his number, that's about what I can do. I'm sure Bonner won't mind, he kinda works for the 'House' anyway.
