Is there any reason to paint the head orange other than the tool is less likely to be left at the job site?

I think slow with the sledge is easier than fast with the axe…and as predicted, the aluminum mushrooms considerably even when hit squarely. OK really, they probably won’t get used too much and I have plenty of grinders…

I think I learned pretty quickly that wedges were a consumable item. I may consume them pretty quickly with the inaccuracies of the axe swing and the chain getting hungary for plastic.
