Just last week I was saying people use directional control too much.

Every situation didn't need a hinge, nor is it desirable...hinges to dump chunks and limbs onto ropes, for instance.

Coos Bay'ed a smaller, rotten alder onto a neighborhood road. 18" diameter or less.

Great to block the road, slam in 3 cuts quickly, tree goes down ezpz, and we quickly clear a lane for any cars. Nobody needed to come through, as it happened.

That is where I got a good visualization of how the cut is performed Jer. I remember reading about the cut originally in your Fundamentals book years ago and it was great when I saw it in the video!
