Usually molten metal will bounce off you, usually. Yeah that's pretty dumb, but also pretty harmless. Not enough there to really get you

I suppose my definition of "really get you" might be different from that of a professional welder .

Really get you means where you need hospital in my world Everyone i know who welds for a living has had so many burns that their arms don't really tan anymore, they just have white spots.
