Lol, do some research on needle programs skwerl. Must be hard to just spew ignorance constantly. Those programs actually save everyone money (social benefit, gasp), not to mention public safety.
I throw my 562 to half choke, when it?s being cold blooded like that. Seems to fire right back up every time. That?s the trick my dealer showed me. Worked for the top 540xp as well.
Ha, wimps, that's a daft statement... they sure as shit are not working as hard as a production tree crew. I've had many close friends in the FS/gov agencies and as employees, govt work is not at he same level (aside from fire, that's a different animal).
Ours stay pretty small here (everything in Central Oregon for the most part). Fun to rig the long limbs, since the holding wood is so easily manipulated and reliable! They seem to be very suseptible to mountain pine beetle, so we slay a fair number. Brittle limbs when dead.
I follow you... We get a lot of that here as well, 50 big trees on a lot, so one or two missing is no biggie. I'm just fed up with needy clients at the moment. Good for you guys stepping up and cleaning house though! Wish I got to rig/remove/climb some big deciduous tree more often up here, so fun.
Good for the old tree company. Someone's gotta advocate against unnecessary removals. As far as I'm concerned, that's our job is public education. Not knocking you treebilly, I'm just fed up with higher than thee clients. frig em.
We have a lot of lombardy's in the rural areas around here too. For some reason, they spook me out... Last one I pruned, we ziplined out 40' tip-tied deadwood sections. Talk about sh-t everywhere.
