8)Did the Yosem thing this last week. Pretty nice, minus the crowds.

Took the bikes, saw pretty much the whole valley in about 3 hours.

No parking problems!

I think it was John Muir who uttered a loud explanative when he saw the Yosemite Valley for the first time.

I believe your right Jay.

Steven, you asked in another forum if I had reletives in Mariposa. I used to have a great aunt who lived there. had a 500 hundred acere ranch. Name Rachel Daws if I remember right or maiden name Liu. Dont ask me where it was at , cause I dont know. Been pert near 40 years since I was at her place last.

She died many years ago and I believe they sold the ranch.LAst I was there mmmmm prob. 73

Probably divided it up into smaller parcels.. I should look it up sometime. That might be up in the E. Westfall area I am thinking or Ponderosa Basin.. Eludes me for now..

you got me... I would have to ask my dad. i know it wasn't to far from the entrance to the park though.

Mrs. B an I enjoyed Yosemite in April. Still snow on the ground in the shadows back then and not much of a crowd. Man, what a beautiful place.
