I remember that thread like it was yesterday. I was sure you were trolling big-time...that or a wack job.

Might have been right, too.
:D

It was only a half troll. I was basing my statment on the fact that I was weaned with no chain brakes on my saws. The Poulan sa25 didn't have nothing but a knuckle guard and the big saws didn't have them back then.

I too never had a saw with a chain brake until the PM 610 Mac came along .Then like a dummy once when it came apart I left it on a stump in the woods .As far as I know it's still there .

Oh,neither one of my Poulan s-25's ever had a guard of any kind on them .I still have two of the little gems in perfect running order. How 'bout that .:)

When chain brakes first came out I didn't think much of them really. Like, "Do we really need these things."

Today I feel they are an important and essential functioning part of every chainsaw.

Nice roster, but with one glaring omission ...

This is actually late for me, Al. Been sleeping in since finishing Series Two of Working Climber. Before that I was getting up at one or two in the am and working for 15 to 18 hours. Using every bit of daylight practically possible. and then some. That video editing is a long and drawn out process.

Series Two is 6 and half hours. Ugh.. Took almost exactly a year to complete. Now I have time to do other things.

In a few weeks, Eric. It's getting a pretty face put on it in Phoenix right now.

Terri and and left Ft. Bragg early this morning to go up the coast to a place called Usal. The road going to it from the highway was a little less that 6 miles but it took almost an hour to get there.

You gots me mixed up with NeTree I think? Squisher= Justin :)

When it's ready to ship be sure to let the Treehouse know.8)
