A 1969 Plymouth Fury. 318 Auto just like the one in the pic but it was silver.

It had 30,000 miles on it when I got it in 1989.

I beat the snot out of it.

That 318 was a good motor. I put the glass-pack muffler on mine so it purred like a kitten at idle and growled like a tiger any other time. ;)

First car was a 1969 Buick Riviera... a HUGE backseat... ;)

Also you could fit 2 kegs of beer in the trunk. Stock 430 ci big block with a 4 bbl carb. Cool ass car.

Looked exactly like this one below with the Riv ralleye wheels and everything... only mine was Maroon in color...

Then a 1963 Chevy 1/2 ton... looked about as ugly and rusty as this one...

The I had a 1971 Chevy ElCamino Super Sport. Just like the one below... only in Ligght Metallic Green and black hood stripes... It was a monster... ran high 11's to low 12's in the 1/4 mile...

I wish I had all 3 of them back... :)

I always thought this would be sick... There was a guy in the neighborhood I grew up in rumored to have made a V8 Bug:/:. Kept the exhaust quiet.... Took home some pinks and greens with it...8)

My first car was a red '71 Fiat 128 coupe. I rode a Yamaha RD-400 for a couple of years before that.

My grandpa called me when I turned 16 and said I got an old scout you can have for free if you can get it running.
It was a 79 International Scout Traveler.

I took a bus to Ocean Shores Wa and picked it up. It had been sitting for a few years. It was the beach dog truck.

Filthy with moss growing in the window sill.

I pillaged the hell out of her, There was a scout wrecking yard not far in Lodi.
Tons of parts, axles whatever.

'56 Nomad..

Had the same looking car. Black leather upholstery with a purple interior light. 8)

Must have rebuilt the transmission four or five times, usually after loaning it to a good buddy. :|:

haha...I just put a sign on the window and had it parked in the drive. A purchaser came knocking on the door in two days. Nomads were much desired then, especially by surfers. I grew tired of a big car, sold it and bought a motorcycle.

A guy I worked with at the gulf gas station had a cherry red '57 Nomad. Two polished up Nomads sitting there on opposing sides of the pumps along the boulevard, looked pretty smart.

'64 Ford F-100 pickup, 4-speed tranny with the granny first gear, 262ci 6 cylinder. Calf scrotum covered shift knob.

, crack me up Steve.

I've had literallly so many vehicles I'm uncertain of the first one I had on the road legally.

First car I owned though was a oldsmobile delta 88 1965. Had a 425 rocket in it the american model engine with a factory 4 barrel. That sucker could stand up and move for a big boat. It was mint. And then it was stolen.:(
