What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

Think of thinner cold spaghetti that isn't all stuck together, in a light sauce. It isn't a heavy dish, just light and refreshing. A summer dish.

I was bad today, at lunch today I went to Little Caesars for their $5 pepperoni pizza, ate 3 pieces for lunch, 3 for dinner, Ayden had one slice to hisself. Tomorrow its back to spinach and bananas...

Hummingbirds eat more per their weight however..

Hummingbirds have the highest metabolism rate of any animal on earth. They have a high breathing rate, a high heart rate, and a high body temperature. To maintain all of this and to provide energy for flying they may consume anywhere from 2/3 to 3 times their body weight in food each day.

ha, I eat what I need to. Today I spent 20 minutes using garbage grabbers picking up litter while the guys spent 4 hours mowing and weed whacking at the condo site. oh, I also spent two hours on the computer and phone in the cab of the truck taking care of biz and I made a 15 minute drive to a friends place to drop off a small gift. not terribly high calorie output today for me. Breakie was a banana and a pita with scrambled egg and a slice of bacon along with a couple handfuls of fresh blueberries, I love blueberry season around here, 5 pounds for $8 straight off the field :)

yup, I submitted a bio and course description late last night. T'was funny, I ended up being 35 minutes late for my interview, met the curator of the gardens in the foyer of the building (he is the fellow I have met a few times over the last couple years and the one that gave my name the check mark for this job)as I approached. He walked me to the office of the underling that is organizing the deal and introduced me then left, we talked for half an hour, I asked about 3 other people that worked in the building and we walked around and I talked to them all for a few minutes to catch up. Then I asked her if I could have a quick wander in the botanical garden to see if there was any potential things to work on for a hands on deal during the course, she walked me past security and admission and let me free. I spent a couple hours wandering in the trees & sun and I decided to blow off work for the day, when I was walking to the exit the curator was walking down giving an elderly couple from Britain an impromptu tour as they had a mutual acquaintance in London, I tagged along and didnt make it home till about 4pm. :D all in all a really good day, karma and employment wise.

My wife used to enjoy watching this Chinese cooking program on TV in the states, "Yan can cook!". The chef was a real jokester too. I think she liked him. :X

Stephen Yan

The show I remember was 'Wok with Yan", he always had a hokey comment on his apron IE you can wok faster or wok to the ends of the earth or Wok, dont run... you get the idea. He started in Vancouver, then on to Ontario, now he is a big deal on Food network.

Superior wok manship...
