We had garden Yukon gold potatoes, a nice big Walla Walla sweet onion, several fresh garlic cloves, and some mango/jalapeno chicken sausage. All chopped up, sautéed in the big azz skillet. Served with a side of sliced sweet red peppers and avocados.
M'lady Ms. M cooked up a pot of chili, simmered half the day. Served over a bed of steamed brown rice, and I threw together our regular green salad for the side. It was a delicious meal .
I especially like chili sizes and i served up the left over chili the other night as chili dogs.
This will do in a pinch though. Had a lot of phone work and roasting buys me time.
I was going to make strudel, but got lazy and made it into a pie instead; onion, garlic, mushrooms, spinach and a lot of Turkish goat Feta.
Turned out really well.
Pizza here. Been a day of mistle toe removal , welding, engine transplants and errands.
I agreed to make about 4 gal of my NE Clam Cowder for the Thursday night dinner at the Mariposa Fish & Game hall. Should be good fun.
