There was some mighty queer sounds that coincided with that pull. I suspect he had that rope running through something other than a block. And that is what cut it.
I don't see how that last one failed. I mean, they even used an angled back cut, the true signature of a pro as nature rarely defies the angled back cut.
I didn't notice this sound until now ( strange, speakers turned off each time I saw this vid).
What could do this "cling-cling-cling"?
It looks like a big chain under tension rubbing in a ring, but then it should be more like "clac-clac-clac". So what ???
Usual elements... Ladder, tree.... pole saw in lieu of chainsaw ......
