Treebogan in the Redwoods

Mike and his gal, Katrina paid Terri and I a visit after they visited Dave, Kristi and the kids in Rio Dell.

I took them to Montgomery Woods for a walk through the trees. We really enjoyed their visit. Fun folks to spend time and chat with.

It's always great meeting new tree folks first hand.

They were on their way home, Willie. Via Hwy 1, coast route to SF airport. Had two days to do it. Should just be home by now I would think..

They were good company, Stephen.

The best part of the visits from yonder folk is the cultural exchange. I learned a lot about living, life and tree work in Norway and New Zealand. Mike is well talented and versed in logging and commercial tree work. As well Katrina. Dynamic duo so to speak. fun visit.

Mike is a heck of a climber, he showed up in time to help section out a redwood , with our grcs....talk about timing, i'd just gotten down to rest , when he showed up with his girl friend, a fellow climber as well

i cant believe the differences in american regulations compared to norway or new zealand great folks

Thanks so Much to Dave and Family,Ger and Teri for making us welcome and giving up their time to show us around! My girlfreinds dream was to visit the Redwoods,somthing she never thought would happen untill just a year ago.This trip ment as much to her as it did to me,its strengthened our relationship and broadened our minds.We truely hope visit again next year.

Got back yesterday and out to work today in my new Wesco's!
