Pretty. That bollard/device looks nautical. I'm unfamiliar with the brand.

I believe Harken still make them custom for the GRCS. They were made as part of their line but we’re going to discontinue but it was negotiated to continue production specifically for the GRCS? Hamms Arborcare has an in depth video on YT where he’s at the inventors shop.

That's it, lol i couldn't remember the name of it either. There's only a few sailboat rigging manufacturers out there that I'm aware of

Smart winch from Steven Ibelings.
Got it from him the designer/builder less 1000€ then any shop...that shit makes magic...specially when all my lifting power was a rude 5 to 1.
Also got a iWinch bit, will be used with a makita drill, coming soon to us.
The possible uses I am still learning.
The carriage is petzl last invention for rescue and rigging.
The harken company does no custom winches for grcs, they sell grcs nautical winches, which grcs customs to their needs.
Same for smartwinch.
Now lets talk about Hobbs.
Who has 1?
What do you think?
I didnt got that cause of import taxes from uk.

Not used a smartwinch. I have used a GRCS plenty of times and they are great.

The Hobbs on the other hand is pretty indestructible. If you have heavy rigging to do and don’t need to lift, then a Hobbs is bomb proof.

We have two Hobbs hanging in the barn. Best investment ever, - about equal usefulness to the two Wraptors next to them. Not much dust on any of them as they get loaded on the trucks and used on a regular basis.
