Today's woot!

Refurbished is usually the ones that get sent back under warranty and repaired. Tested to meet original specs and sent out for a deal to sell it again. I have bought GPS's and other electronics that were refurbished and havent had any more problems than I would expect from a factory fresh unit.

Yes ma'am. It's not always necessarily a death sentence, especially when it still has a warranty covering it.

LOL @ "Do you know what that means"

Indeed, around here Costco even has a special store brand to sell all their overstock, refurbished, freight damaged and sellable returns called MTF warehouse. Its a great place if you dont mind the odd scuff or scratch on something. Another store chain is Xcess Cargo, they pool products from a handful of smaller stores (smaller than Costco) and do the same liquidation deal.

No, I'm resisting temptation since I need to pay for a laundry list of stuff(background check, bloodwork, tox screen, etc) for my application to the nursing program.

I'm confused - I thought you were a ATM tech? Orrrrrr, something like that? Now you're going into nursing? I tried that, not my bag - sick people aren't fun to be around at all.

Looks like I won't be getting that kite...I AM already getting their emails trying to sell more stuff..buncha hooie:

Dear Gary,

Here's one of those good news, bad news situations – but like most of them, it really is heavily weighted towards the bad news.

The good news is the Kites flew off the shelves!! See what we mean – the good news is really only good news for us, not that great for you.

Now the bad news – we sold twice as many as we have in stock and we can't get any more. Yep, just bad news there.

The Yugster operating system (an old guy with a #2 pencil and a napping habit) couldn't handle all the orders he was getting for the kite, so he started to count each order twice – and thereby cut the work of making hash marks in groups of five - in half. So for every kite we had, there were two orders attached.

Being clever, we shipped as many orders as we could. Unfortunately, you were one that will not be getting a kite. We are refunding your order and are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

The laziness will stop, and naps are now forbidden in the new system. Fortunately, we are getting an excellent price for our old "system" from the air traffic controllers. I hope that you can understand the situation and forgive us – after all, it is "Yours Until Gone".

Please don't tell us to go fly a kite – we can't - we don't have any left.

Sincerely,
MasterYug and his Minions

old age, probably. ;)

I think 24 oz is pretty much just a gulp too, but my son talked me into buying a pair. They'll fit into my cup holder during errands. Anything else, I'll stick with the frozen 2 liter bottles.
