Today's woot!

Wanna sell me yours Andy and get another that suits you better????

No. I bought this for a specific purpose and have a new Cree XM-L emitter and driver board already on the way for it! It's going to reach out even further when I get done with it

Any sudgestions????

Give me a bit, I'll see what I can find for decent weapon lights. You need something set up to take the recoil abuse! Normal flashlights don't care for that use.

Thanks Andy, I could not remember the name. They have some other products I might be interested in.

No problem Mike, they do make some neat stuff!
Paul, I'll give you some links, but make sure you are sitting down! The Surefire stuff scared the heck out of me! The Insight lights are good, BUT! DO NOT buy them from anyone but a reputable dealer, there have been a lot of cheap import clones that are great replicas, but not the same!

Carl would probably be a better source on this info, I don't run lights on guns, for a lot of reasons.

Where you look is where you see. Hands free too.

The one rather major drawback to using a flashlight in a situation involving gunfire is that the light becomes the target.

Paul, the Tritium sights on my Glock glow in the dark and make it super easy to pick out targets in low light situations, especially if your eyes are already adjusted to the darkness.

I've got a headlamp Jason, just not a fan of looking like a dork wearing it! Sorry, I can't get over that stigma for some reason!

I'm so with Brian on this! Good night sites allow you to surprise, and fire upon intruders without ever giving away your position. One of the main reasons I don't like lights on guns!

I'm more practical than I am vain, so I'll stick to the hands free option. No one can see you in the dark anyway. I don't have or need a gun presently.

If you use a light in combat, shield your eyes, lest you be blinded by the glare from your own beam.

I've got to check this Woot place out .First I've even heard of it .

They sell those LED flashlights pretty cheap although they probabley aren't as powerfull as the one mentioned .TSC ,Lowes, etc often have them 2 for 5 bucks or so .

I wouldn't touch HP units myself. End up at the mercy of HP and their driver/OS disc. Never heard much good on the tech support either. Not that many have a good one these days.

I had an HP PC once, NEVER again will I own a proprietary parts machine like that. No thank you. ;)

I have an HP laptop and it works great. I did turn off or disable all the proprietary HP programs they had installed on it when I first got it, but they all have that crap.
