Timber Framing

Not as much as we used too now that we have moved our calving date to the middle of May.

Wont be feeding nearly as much.

Just working on all my old iron.

My hired man is the kind of guy that would help me too, I think.

I think it would be a good fit. Just need to find a logger I guess?

Well, I have run my sawmill idea by the wife, my folks, and the hired man.

Everyone seems to think its a good idea for me to have a sawmill. So, knowing that, I am having second thoughts.

No one ever thinks my ideas are good.

Found a Wood Mizer 40 in Kalispell Montana for a good price. I though I was going to have to go clear to Kentucky to find one.

Dave if you ever feel like taking a sabatical let me know. I have a field full of logs and a bunch of building projects, just no time to do them....

I chuckle when i read back at the start of this thread. I kept sketching myself out over the process. Im fortunate to have a friend like Dave. Now i have built timber frames sitting on pallets waiting for a new home, and timbers waiting to be worked. He created a sicko.

I was also fortunate to check out the wedding barn he built, and helped a few weeks ago raise the lawn mower shed at the fair. Good guy that Dave is.
