I raised my 12x16 frame for a demo at a historical society shindig today. Then we took it down and I'm going to put it up for my mother to put her new lawnmower in.

Thought it looked familiar.

Once the old guy died that ran the mill next door his step son came and ran it for a while.

After a while he got into selling Wood Mizers. He wanted dad and I go to into a partnership with him. Never did, but I have a catalog.

It was used for barn sidings here, because it is so open pored that if the planks were set vertically, rain water would run right out of them.
Lasted a long time without any treatment.
 
Prices are all over the place on used mills. It depends on what options you want. Sawmill Exchange has a bunch of used 'Mizers usually. If you could get set up out of the weather, it could be a fun winter hobby. Sell a few planks to offset the cost of owning the mill.
