I wish I had the camera ready first thing in the morning. I got delayed in getting to the site and the crane beat us. So the mini was stranded in the front yard. The Op had a couple of perfect chains to make the mini fly over the roof and into the back yard. The HO was quite impressed.
Just some photo fodder for size reference of the logs and the little area we had to work in. the Back yard has a down ward slope to the house.


For reference as well, that is my 20 foot flip line... not much left on the tail

Guys just called me to say that they broke my chipper.
I don't think they were being careful or knowledgeable enough with my chipper right there. Not saying it isn't doable but they didn't do it right.

Lowered Huge log that sucked two spars together adding a ton of drop... glancing blow too feed control bar.
Lack of experience but not end of world.

August, if its any consolation....

1. Equipment is only new for 1 day... at least it wasn't a truck cab or something worse.

2. Thats a great excuse to buy a little mig welder if you don't have one!

Looks a little shallow for that. Did you or the homeowner have to clean the stuff out of the pool? Got a three tree removal job over and around a big HOA pool in a couple of months that should be interesting.

Ray I did a 2 dead redwood removal by pool, HO said dont clean it "pool guy" will get it ....would have Loved to see his face when he got back to pool....priceless
