The Official Work Pictures Thread

Those were weird little spike-knots in the hinges. To be down that low it's gotta be that a little co-dom just grew into the main tree right?

Marm city bro. Branch growth like a porcupine. The last one we did yesterday took most the day. Looked like it should have come out of the rewood Forest. Tops like a cathedral. So much bind in every direction. Really took time to butcher her out. She dead now though ;)
44" dbh two of them. That one I shot a photo straight up was lightening struck. That would explain some of it. Might have been a secondary strike on the other two. Last one almost 140 tall. These were also near primaries. Not so near the utilities worried. But I could have hit the lines with them.

Didn't remember to get pics of much. I got into it and got forgetful.

First one was one of the six hangs we did on this tree. They just had to chip the whole thing for some reason. Second was the top rigging( go big or go home). And last was the 50' log we dropped into the yard. Cut it into ten foot pieces and out of there by 1:15.
The country club patrons were not very happy with having to detour around us to get to the tennis courts. Some of them would walk up, see that they couldn't use the walk, and go back to their vehicles rather than step on the grass like the commoners. I wish I took a picture of the sign the grounds crew set up for us. It stated " we apologize for any inconvenience this project will cause. We will try to finish in a timely manner with the least amount of disruption possible". Or something in that manner.
Pics 1 and 2 got out of order

I worked at a fancy golf course on Thursday. I was driving the crane home and there were 2 chicks walking down the road the way I was going ,side by side. You know they staid in the road and wouldn't let me by for what seemed an eternity till they got to where they were going. The ignorance amazed me!

Dead elm removal, been dead a year, was crispy, broke limbs, over house, cables and a beech tree. And a deck and pool. The whole shabang! 3 loads of chip, and a prentice is picking the wood up tmrw. Pic heavy

Cut and chuck Gary... RaPIDO COS IT IS A BUSY ROAD...(Not the nicest of hinges.... It really held on even with such a small hinge, it was heavy in the backside up top. But it went perfect)

Good stuff! Found myself back at it today in climber mode after the back being out. Almost called this one quits but slowly and a few please hold up for me chants to myself and willing it all smooth, so it went.
Had worked the bit out over the service drop prior to the pics. The big lead left I truly don't know how it hadn't failed last wind storm. Less than 1/2' of holding wood and a hole I could pass my arm through right at the fork.

This if you zoom the bend behind me it will show another reason why I almost called it.

Damn, guys!

I reduced the stuff hanging over the house and kids play area, which has already been moved due to dropping walnuts.

9am, before.

Bucket Mick. Wasn't quite maxed out on reach but almost. Would've been okay on Spurs with the rope man. Things went so smooth.
