That top was a ms400 with an 18” bar. What do you use as a climbing saw these days Rich?
S’funny, because i notice a lot of peeps run 2 climbing saws these days. That top was a ms400 with an 18” bar.
Takedowns I use a 194t which has had the exhaust opened up and retune. Runs links a scalded greyhound. Very strong saw and much better than any of 201t saws I have used.
I also have a MS 200t which has been fully ported with timing advance. I use that occasionally just to give it a bit of exercise but mostly the 194t.
Pruning I use a 150t that has had the exhaust opened, timing advance and retune.
If it warrants it I will get the 441 or 660 out of the truck but if I am contract climbing for a mate. I use what ever big saws they have. Usually a 500i or a 661.
My wrists and elbows remember the 200t for everything days.
I got one of the first 150t’s early on. Ported it straight off and my elbows and wrist felt so much better for it.
I am not really into battery saws. I have used a few but they just seem like a step back to me. Ie the comment above.
Too heavy and unbalanced. I prefer the lightest power head and post it for the most power.
And no I don’t run a 16” bar on my 200t.
I am not American.
Yes.Is that little orange light inside the cavity daylight shining in?
