The Official Work Pictures Thread

Proud is in the eye of the beholder and it looks plenty proud from my desk top.

What does the lodgepole go for/used for?

Not so much work pictures, Went over towards the west coast of Norway to help out at the Norwegian National Tree Climbing comp.

Camped a night in Hargangervidda and then drove on down to the venue. I was a in tree tech for the ascent event. We set everything up on the Friday and the event went smoothly on Saturday. Masters on the Sunday.

Bought a new RopeRunnerPro, 60m rope a few Silky blades and was gifted a new silky for helping out.

Awesome weather. All in all it was a decent weekend but I have been like a Zombie all week.

Arbor-trolley for the low limbs from chainsaw and pole chain saw. Rolled right to the chipper.

Used small trees' material to pad the asphalt for wedge-overs. Built up logs in three layers on the gravel at the edge of the asphalt for the trunks at about 15-20' high to hit, so as not to poke the asphalt with the bigger trees.

Cones marking dogwoods and currants that needed protection (part of the initial limbing up for clearance over them as the trees fell).

Cool and dry, then cool and wet. Very little dust by comparison to a normal day.

My chipper makes that kinda material disappear into the woods so fast. Probably terrible for an oak forest. The only sensors are a temp gauge, oil pressure gauge, and formerly an amp meter. So little to go wrong/ act up.
I read horror stories of some people's new machines having all sorts of expensive repair and downtime problems/ expenses.
