The Official Work Pictures Thread

Yes, wear a breathing filter.

Spray a garden house in the infeed... so I've heard.

Have been wondering who had a chronic cough from tree work.

I used to wear a filter only for stump grinding and london planetree. What a tough guy... cough cough.

Beautiful Deva. Is that an Altec 38 ton with 127’ of main boom?

And about the dust pic. We had placed the chipper so the breeze would carry the dust away from us. Now if I would have only moved my pick up truck and trailer. At least I had the windows up. Chipper gets A new air filter after it gets a bath

Right on I’m glad you like it.
Thats my lead guy up ther setting slings…. I’m a year younger than his Dad.
Jonny did the cutting ne I did rigging on rope over the neighbor house while they craned.
Huge Mango tree reduced… pretty sure it’s gonna rot… prolly remove it later.
They said the crane was 30 ton… the best we were ever good for was about 9000 at 42’ away…altec for sure

edit:
For the record Spurs and Ascenders together are a must.

Exactly! That is a tree that was begging to be climbed - what a playground!!
If it wasn’t in the main entrance area of the botanical garden I’d have been tempted to go back to the truck for my climbing gear. 🤣

Nice shots.

Deva, how's life out there aside from the trees? Getting in the water much?

That's East Coast, Burnham. I wish I had that much wood to prop myself on for almost half the trees I do. Zooming in looks like he's got at least half of a 18-24" split. I've had oaks like that that were even dicier, yet held no problem.
