I'm a Facebook regular. I have a business page I'm ordered to be sensible on and my own page where I get to post narcissistic selfies, opinionated rants, outrageous lies and self pitying moans when I'm coming down from wild nights out.

I knew all that Ed. Just making sure you hadn't added any.

Thanks!

Reg, we do, fall and winter is my favorite time for tree work...summers are brutal though

Trimmed up some Sabal Palms today for the county at a beach side park. Good thing we started early, it was packed with terrorists, I mean tourists, after lunch. We knocked out twenty-two before noon and eight more after lunch plus cleanup and piled a mountain of fronds at each end of the park for the county to pick up and haul. I'm not a bat expert but there were some big ones in several of the trees. Vampires maybe?:O Fun little run and gun job. P4020616.jpg P4020619.jpg

Finished up some storm-damage pruning/ big hangers and canopy raise over the house, garage, shed. This tree was topped a long while back, 30-40 years ago. then there was a huge ice storm in 1996 that broke a lot of leads, then we had an snow/ ice storm a few years ago. A suckery regrowth, but pretty strong, all the same. Dense wood.

A good break-in for the new guy. I cut and lowered everything. He had time to process material and practice knot work. He worked safely, and put in good effort. He's intelligent. Eased him into medium speed chipping of small pieces. There was a bottleneck between the house/ landscaping/ garage to the driveway chipping area. He was a bit apprehensive, but got the feel of it.

Home owner spread a couple yards of mulch early the second morning in the root zone and path to the garage man-door and shed. A couple yards of chips total.

Interesting to climb.

Time for the eave to be cut again.
