The Official Work Pictures Thread

Taking off some key branches on this very slippery valley oak over 2 parts of roof....rats were getting on roof from oak and ate thru a water line upstairs and flooded parts of downstair rooms, what a mess, all when they were on vacation.

Pest dude found a rats nest on first level of home I found one in the oak tree as well....

Yeah Jim....if they're small or easy trees they're for my gig....if it's a big silly goofy dumb tree it's usually for someone else.
But these small tree gigs pay way better.

I work for Bixler part time as well

I keep busy..lol

Wow! Thanks for the well wishes gents.

Man you guys are killen it, specially Joel and Willie.

Willie: I got Vicodin, brother.... ;) been taking it easy on drink. Viconin's overrated.

Sean: Thanks. Will do. Been very temporate on the drink.

Gary: Thanks.

Stig: CANNOT STAND! this hunt and peck business, but Butch nailed it. Explain better in Six weeks!

Bosses kind enoug/h to keep me around doin one arm ground work! Holy smoke! every little bone in this rig that God made matters SOOO much. The boys have been really cool. Guess I'll just be training the new guys, and one arm brush dragging, for at least five more weeks. Try to throw up a pic or two of the new Gents while I'm on the ground.

Nothing great, just another boring county ditch project. It was weird for me though. I had someone else fly the boom. I didn't feel right having another foreman (who is much older than me ) drag brush. Only three more days on this crap, then probably on to gas company ROW clearing. We're now up to 8 miles to get done by March 15. Of course we won't be issued a permit for another week or so.

Dang Jed thats a drag,i know them injuries are a real head game. Work pictures thread ain't gonna be the same without you!! Hope it goes well for ya.

Aw Jed!! Take care of yourself and be sensible while you heal!

Ha, sudden palm drop...I've had coconuts do that, left work on Friday, looked fine, back on Monday the top was on the ground. Fungus of some kind. It seemed to happen more often a few months after a hurricane, stress cracks up in the head, entry point for the fungus.

Pull tests are your friend. And no thanks on being with it as it failed!
Finished up a new homesite job yesterday clients who care for trees are always nice sent the logs to be milled and kiln dried as they will be making their entry doors from it.
Some fodder:D
