The Official Work Pictures Thread

Cheers,

It was in Arnes, NW of Oslo. We were surprised to find out it was only planted in 1919 when the cabin was built. It wasn't the tallest I have seen out here but the forest form trees tend to shoot in competition for the light. It was definitely one of the fattest I have seen in Norway.

Nice Rich!
This was my day on the ground only.
Lightning struck twice within a week:eek:
Slow and steady inspection on the way up. Ended up bombing the big stuff as the lightning was rolling up again.

Beautiful day out back on a farm. Created some clearance so LO could get tractor through while Nic (timbertramp) dropped & cut up a dozen or so dead Ash nearby.

Here are some pics from Thursday. We did 4 pretty big removals here but only managed to get pictures of the first tree. Best part of the day was the crane operator/owner let me try running it. Really enjoyed it.

That's cool. I been wanting to ask one of the crane operators to let me play with the controls for a bit. They never seem to want to offer without you asking, even when you're standing next to their door there like a kid in an amusement park. Probably afraid you might break something.

Probably right, Cory, they don't want their little secret to get out. People should keep thinking that they are working when operating those things.

It is really cool in the crane seat, a lot going on though. This crane was a manitex 40124shl. I want to try his new national nbt50 next he was telling me how impressive it is to operate that crane.
