The Official Work Pictures Thread

What about blue diesel? Is that even a thing anymore? Dad used to call it "fleet fuel". If I recall, it was commercial use only, kinda like the pink stuff is off highway only.

Our summers can be quite humid being up close to the Great Lakes. Diesel keeps well here. Maybe they put and additive in it. Seems doubtful.

Since I put a spin on filter on my tank pump years ago I have not had to change a fuel filter since. The spin on lasted many years and a few thousand gallons. I should probably change it more often. I drained my storage tanks years ago thinking there must be some water on the bottom. Nope. Seemed odd to me. Drained some off the tractor tanks too. Nothing there either.

I've never had a problem. I didn't know diesel algae was a thing. I have noticed it goes from a greenish to a yellowish as it ages. I haven't had problems with red diesel sitting for years either, just battery problems.

I'm working according to the plan. If the plan specifies a short crop, I do so. If the pruning is less rigid (N4), then I stick to it. You've probably never dealt with poplars and willows. I pruned these 4 trees more than 20 years ago in the shape of a column. IMG_2584.jpeg As you can see, these trees are in great shape. I have a light hand!) I have not seen a single tree that has died after my work. Max light hand!)
