A Put On Ground Only job knocking down about 10 doug-fir. Laid many down the property line. Climbed one, swung, top downward went another. Cleared the limbs up near the mailbox on the last tree, keeping it out of the street. Laid some bunk logs because of utility lines. Nothing fancy, just came across a couple pics. Was bid as climbers, one and all, instead, we raced through it. The last tree was also for a show for the neighbors and to help the HOs feel they got their money's worth, with a 10% discount.
Good stuff guys!
When I have a cut and leave gig I am always waiting for the call "uhhh can you come back and clean it up for me, it's a little more than I can handle ".
Man that looks nice up there in N. Cal.
Speaking of northern California the wife and I have a new 13 year old baby sitter who just moved here to northern Manitoba from a town she tells us is the last town along the California coast near the Oregon border. Her dad is a professor of forestry and got a job at our local U.C.N. college here in The Pas.
Big change for them living in our snowy artic cold wilderness town.
Nice work you two! Lovin the out working the limb...
Was sorta doing the same here. Live oak keeps dropping limbs on stuff so the one over the roof and service just had to go...
Got this job from doing that wide low spreading oak I posted not so long ago. Two houses and lots of trees to do.
Used SRT with the HH on this one. Traversed over from another tree and got to work... Gotta love leaners
Thanks Leon... Was a tad challenging.. Had to drift them a tad small with a 4-1 reeling them in....
Sure am loving the HH though... Made for easy climbing out to it.
Nice stuff guys... Bixie and I made a pretty impressive limbwalk on our Night Oak.... I walked that sucker all the way to the ground, after I got scared of the jump I planned.
Stephen, why is it that you don't hook up with a crane on some of your jobs? You must have mentioned it before, I can't remember. Cranes can sure speed up things when usable.
I have never seen a crane job in ND in the past 22 years. Tried to set one up once, as the owner of the property had a Stinger RO. Ended up having someone else do the job. We used Nationals all the time in Ohio in late 60's working for Davey.
