It seems to me that the turtles haven't teeth, only an hardened lip-like. The contact areas are bigger than those from the teeth, so they lack of pressure to cut through our skin. But still, it looks like her parrot beak can give a good biting.

Beside that, it always amazes me how stupid people can be.
