It blew my mind a few years ago when I saw shepards in the swiss alps herding their cows and sheep the exact same way they've done for hundreds of years. Looked like a good life, to me

Yeah, it would would take balls of steel to climb up there. In that realm though, it is known as a fairly easy climb.

I've been there- in Italy there was a bridge probably 10 m over the water. I watched probably 15 ppl jump in before me, but whoah, it was so hard to actually do it myself. One of those things that is basically perfectly safe but hard to actually do. Reminds me in a way of dunking in frigid water/cold showers.

I grew up watching the big kids jump/dive off the roofs of boat houses around our lake and would beg to be allowed to try it myself. I was probably 5 or 6 years old the first time. Little kids have no fear especially when you're trying to be like the big kids. It was about 15 feet but looks much higher when you're only 3 feet tall.

Oh yeah, the first time off the high-dive (12 feet above the water). Looked like 1200 feet. After the first just jump I started diving like a pro.
