What a god awfull mess to have to limb and buck.
Clearly a job for the new apprentice.

It's a domino fell that goes for at least a mile right down the road, pretty cool, but unless he's got some apprentices or a huge grapple skidder with a delimber on the landing, his next day or two will be spent limbing and bucking a nightmare.

I would bet gasket issue. You really need to beef up the gasket and head and intake bolts to handle the pressures generated by the turbo and the burn in the cylinder. Looked to be bubbling out at the base of the intake.

That's cool, the steam tractor. There is an annual event here in the mid-Willamette valley called "Steam-Up". A really fun gathering of all manner of steam driven and otherwise old timey machines.

Not this summer, of course...

Cringe-worthy machines here...

Not a fan of ANY equipment with no mechanism for engagement/disengagement of the business end of the operation ... That “wheel of death” featured in the second clip is a catastrophe just waiting to happen. My SuperSplit uses a lever to engage / disengage the rack to the pinion gear - unlike chainsaw bars tips- liberal amounts of grease are welcome :D
