The Atherstone ball game, dating back 820 years, 2019 was a vintage year apparently.

The idea is you have to be in control of the ball at the end of the game to be the winner, hence the frantic attempts to take if from the group ensconced in the doorway.

You’re not allowed to kill anyone, which is nice.
