She is, much better. The anesthetics seem to be hard on her. It has taken 10 - 12 hours or so for her to get up, and move around. She is up now though......went outside to do her business, came in and ate a few bites.

Jasper had a hard time with those meds, too. The vet was able to fine tune to a less problematic set of anesthetics after she understood his sensitivities. So talk to your medico prior to the next time around, should that be needed. There may be a better choice for Isabel.

I made a little "back porch" for the horse drawn carriage, so the mutts could come along.
They enjoy that hugely.

What would the correct english/american term be for such a carriage?

Apart from meaning bullshit, more or less, a pony and trap refers to a two wheeled cart.

Buggy mgiht work, thanks.
I'll simply use that henceforth, until someone with more knowledge corerects me.

Buggy often refers to a two wheeled rig, single axle. Cart, or sulky as well.

Carriage or wagon is more often a two axle, four wheeled affair.

But there are many variations...likely local terms range widely.

Since I'm going to be making hay again, I asked the neighbour farmer to spread a load of liquid pig manure in the hayfield, to boost the grass.

Of course Thais got into it and ended up smelling so bad, that a trip to the ocean to clean up was in order.
His first, by the way, but he took to the water like a duck.
