The Movie/TV/New Releases Thread

You calling me odd bro?

:laughing6:

I usually like New Zealand movies and tv, they do some good stuff usually, even though they talk funny. Helps a bit if you know the lingo sometimes.

One of the best was Once Were Warriors. A far cry from the Wilderpeople but a good movie. There's a new one coming next month that looks like it could be ok. If you haven't seen Once Were Warriors see it first. 1994.

Both are a bit violent.

Watched this last night, it's a bit odd as well.

Danish western filmed in South Africa with Jeffrey Dean Morgan/Negan as the bad guy. It's not Hollywood so pretty slow, a bit like the old spaghetti westerns.

It's in English, just a few subtitles at first. Don't put anything off to watch it, but it wasn't that bad.

This looks pretty good, haven't seen Costner in anything for a while.

Set in Montana, (it's just tv Jim)

Odd trailer presentation.

I think you and I are the only ones here who watch TV or movies, Steve!

I sort of got that impression a long time ago.

Yellowstone is from the same guy that did Sicario, that was alright but the second one looks a lot better.

That's gonna be good. Can you get Goliath there? Billy Bob Thornton as a lawyer?

Awesome series! I watched 2 seasons in 2 days.

Yellowstone anyone? I missed the first episode or two and have watched the most recent. So far it?s been good. I like most of Costner?s stuff.

Jim.... I?ll have to run it through you on how authentic/realistic it is.

Heck yea - Imma watch it! Right now - got 3 episodes to knock out.

Damn! Had to shoot his horse! :(

I haven't heard of it.

Your not paying attention. Last page, two weeks ago.

Watched this last night on tv, someone seemed to think it was a good time to put it on. Filmed in Cairns, there's a cyclone up there and big storms all up the east coast.

It wasn't too bad for a low budget movie. There was thunder and rain here all through it so that might have worked for it. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6131562/

I thought it was turrible - too many inconsistencies. Plus, no way you can move like they did blindfolded.

Sandra must be getting hard up!
