TCIA Folly

What are we looking at??? "Splain yoself!

hahaha...OK. You see a 19 year old young'un that was watching me get my gear ready to properly trim some troublesome limbs from those lil' trees...they were a nuisance at the pool. 19 year old brashness, confidence and agility got to the ladder before me, snagged my Silky and did the deed, barefoot in a swimsuit. He went up the ladder and did left tree, did middle tree, and like Stephen said, monkey climbed over to the right tree where he trimmed it out, too.

He cut off that stub above him and also, somehow, the one he is sitting on. Great example of PPE and everything.

That boy is now a firefighter with a good head for safety (my son).

this has happpened to me where I have leaned forward to inspect my cut while cutting off a large stub on the spar. In this case, my lanyard was around the spar and above the stub I was cutting. The lanyard fell on to the running chain. It was not tensioned and did not cut through. I was also tied in above.
