Just curious- is it 'still" or "steel?''

The commercials say "still"...... The reps say "still"......

That answers it for me. I still say "steel". Old habits die hard.

It might be a regional thing. Up here it's Still, but drive five hours south and it's Steel.

I have an elderly German customer, he pronounces it "steel" at a very fast rate. When he talks about the metal, he draws out the word "steeel".

Stihl - in Russian sounds like Штиль. Штиль - this is the calm, windless and weather with low winds.
