Hey I have no complaints about .45 and 1911's. My Llama is far from pretty (probably why I've yet to sell it, aside from no resale value ), but it goes bang, and for $125 for the gun and 1600rds... I see no reason to complain. It's no .500 S&W, but it gets er done.

Carl, the Hi Power can be carried in condition 1 just like the 1911. I really like the 9. For me it's not all about the power of the load. Compare the weight of 500 rnds of 45 0r 40 to 500rnds of 9. The 9 makes it much easier to pack a gob of rnds to the river for a weekend of blasting. It is also much cheaper to reload.
