I saw this bluegrass band once and will never forget it. Not a bluegrass crowd, but they tore the place up. Jim and Jesse, awesome musician brothers.

That third guy in the center has to have a rubber band around his nuts to sing that high.....Great song... I always like the way Blue Grass bands harmonize., not to mention their playing...

And in another vein...

Interesting how different tastes in music we all have.
I didn't make it ½ way through that, before having to turn it off.
It computes nothing but pure noise to my brain.

It just depends on the mood I am in to what I listen to that day.

Right now I am in the bonfire music state of mind.

I like these. I just purchased this banjo from Ron Stuart who is playing it8)

Pooh! well, tried to make them work. You can find them here: youtube - The Boxcars - "December 13th" and "Jumpin' The Tracks" - both videos by "Music City Roots"...

It is one awesome Instrument: Built by Warren Yates, it is the prototype for the "Yate RS Archtop" model they will start making. Ron played it for about 6 months and cut a couple songs on their new album with it.

Well, going to go pick some more Banjo now...:D

Looks good, pretty cool mandolin player as well.8)

The mandolin in this video was made by a guy in Athens Ohio. Don MacRostie is Red Diamond Mandolins. http://reddiamondmandolins.com/

Great pieces of music. Thanks for posting them.

I just came across this. Never seen "handbells" before. While I can easily find better versions of Mozarts Piano concerto no. 21, this is quite something else.

BTW, this is what I'd consider a good version of Mozart's piano concerto no. 21.
In most versions, the violins overpower the piano, but it was meant to be a PIANO concerto.

Sorry about the silly video, it came with the music.

While I'm on a roll here, let me post this.
Lots of guitarists have tried their hand at Scott Joplin's " The entertainer".

Stephan Grossman does a nice version, but nothing comes close to this IMO.
