I think most or us who are born before the 21 century could continue that list about forever.

I thought it was a pretty good list, 'specially with the Beatles on Ed Sullivan being numero Uno.

I remember that night like it was yesterday, 1964, February 9 as it happened. I come from the most normal, conservative family you can imagine, and my 3 older sisters were absolutely freaking out watching, sitting on the floor in front of the tv, wearing bathrobes and their hair up in curlers and towels. I didn't really capiche what all the fuss was about at 7 y o. My parents were aghast at the Beatles long hair, honestly. Lordy!!!

Music didn't start in the 1960es.
