Keep in mind that this customer was the one that wanted me to place the trap IN the tree. :what:

Kinda the same way a person, who can't figure out how a can-opener works, would tell a mechanic how to rebuild an engin!

...hence why I'll be getting paid before I do anything else!!!

I did a Racoon removal yesterday evening.

One 50 grain ballistic tip to the chest from my AR15 at 40 yards. :D

That summbitch ain't gonna be tearing up the yard no more.

Oh anybody can shoot one .That isn't a big deal .

The real challange is to coax one inside of a box trap .Even more so to capture one in a gunny sack .:O

.... and then shoot it ? ...

No don't shoot it.

Shave his whole body except the head, ankles, tip of tale & add pink ribbons in its hair. Looking like this, all his raccoon buddies will make fune of him & he'll never come back! :P

Be sure to post a YouTube of the shaving process, with narrations. Please bleep out the expletives when it shreds you.:/:

Mange does that to an animal.

she is doing better - a puppy mill dog with ring worm and other skin issues - she has more fur then that but will always have patches missing. about 4 more months of treatment - then she can find a new home.
thanks for asking

I always wondered why nobody keeps raccoons as pets. They are smart, cute, eat the same food we do, etc. They sure can be a nuisance, but then again so can dogs and cats. Sure they're wild animals, but so are dogs and cats. Yeah they can hurt you if they get pissed off, but so can dogs and cats. I've got some that live around my house that are clearly getting fed by a neighbor. They will crawl right up in your lap if you let them. I've even seen one petting the neighbor's cat before, so they're not too mean.

When I was a kid growing up, we had the odd raccoon as a pet from time to time. It was a blast all summer long with the little critters. Come fall when they were grown up enough, they'd take off on there ownto fend for themselves in the wild.

But in the mean time, they were the best pet a kid could have short of a good dog.

Hmmm, your rescue hound reminds me of my little ratter. Good on you for helping that beast.8)

Whoa look at those nails could you imagine him being upset at your recliner, that racoon would strip a couch in like five minutes..:O

I've heard of folks keeping skunks as pets too. Apparently you can get them de-stinkified.

We had a skunk trying to get into our kitchenette the night before last. I had to go out and chase him off and secure the doors better.

I tried to edit this post to add a picture and couldn't access the full edit page. Said a security token was missing? :?

There was a girl I went to school with that had a pet skunk among other oddities .That danged skunk was so fat it looked like a furry basketball with legs .

They also had red tail hawk they rescued as a chick .Interesting bird .

If it got mad it would turn it's back and take a dump on whatever it was perched on at the time which could be the sofa .Danged house looked like a zoo .

The neighboors had a pet skunk when I was a kid. Yes it was de-scented.
Similar to a pet racoon, it got crabby after it got older, starting biting, they got rid of it.

While it was de-scented it would still take aim, people would run away screaming.
