Problems with Zelle

Just a heads up if anyone uses or are thinking of using the Zelle payment app. Banks are ‘not’ stepping up when fraudulent activity occurs in the Zelle platform. People are losing thousands of dollars. I’m closing my account.

Also if you don’t use Zelle in a year they/them close your account. So I never reactivated it. But thanks for the heads up.

They keep screwing up a mortgage transaction for me that costs me 2-12 hours to get corrected till the following month. Not fun. All my other transactions go right through. But Oh no, lets fug the mortgage payment.

Instant transfer of funds at no cost.
So, get what you pay for I guess. But I do pay fees on my account it comes out of at the credit union. Its basically abill pay thingy.

I live in the sticks, too.

Our local savings bank does the same thing... for those regular monthly bills, and all.

Works OK.
