Options on removals.

Same here, I always give them the option.
Same if there is a small tree or bush in the way.
If the difference is big enough, the little tree or bush dies.
It is a tough economy here, anything we can do to lower prices, we'll do.

Well almost anything:)

I like the people who are all particular about their beloved plants and the garden hasn't seen any attention in recent memory.

I can't fathom why people hire Crash'n'Bash Tree Service.

I watched a crew last week down the street, four dead Pines, 60ish feet tall. Crew came in, truck with a stump grinder, chipper/chipper truck and a grapple truck, I think eight guys.
They got out the pole saw and took off the lower branches then just flopped them across the street! All four trees! No climbing, no blowing the tops, NADA! I watched in disgust as ONE guy ran the saw while the other shagged brush to the chipper and blew chips all over the neighbors yards and cars!
They raked it "good enough" and left, I watched the HO haul off two pickup loads of chips and Pine needles!
Hell, I probably could have done a hack job like that for half their money and made a killing! It was/is a real mess!

A couple years back Tom and his brother in law I think bought 80 or so sheets of 3/4" for about 5 a pop . Local building supply hardware type store going out of business .Right place, right time .
