I love the eco-system up in the tops of big old Firs. A world all its own.

I haven't had the pleasure of being up in giant pnw firs but just love seeing the life in big ol tree tops- insects, flying squirrels, and tree frogs really astonish me, there they are with insanely effective camouflage, but they seem like they don't belong up there, why aren't they swimming around in a pond with typical frogs. Amazing adaptability.

Yup. I see height as an advantage around here, you often don't get it either
