Butch, with all respect, you really cannot make a blanket statement like that and be right for everyone...angled pads make all the difference to you, but not to me. Your opinion, based on your body and experience, is different to mine, and we both are correct, for us.

That's funny, Scott...isn't it amazing how something will bother one person and be of zero consequence to another? Never even occurred to me, but I guess you're right, they do clank a bit.

Stood in spurs about 4-5 hours today, I like them. They did not rotate on my leg once, like the velcro's do. Stayed right there, nice and tight. I like 'em.

Probably more like 3.75 hours. Was about 45 minutes per tree. Two were double leadered, two were big bitches. Was good times with hundreds of cuts.

I'm just glad the pads worked nice. Putting the bend in them to contour my leg was a key factor.

I did not seem to have to bend mine much and they worked out fine..chicken legs and all.

Just remember - if you ever tire of their streamlined, compact shape the bigger, bulkier caddies are always an option!
