You mean they didn't hurt like those worn out velcro wraps?
:D

I'm sure you'll be happy with the new ones...Butch and Brian wouldn't steer you wrong.

I ordered some too for my climber, he's going to use them tom., I'll file a report!

Well, he used them on one crane job, 2 hours worth. He said they were "OK". Safe to say more time is needed for a proper review. Plus, he's not real particular- when I was mounting them on his spurs, I found one was adjusted 2-3" higher than the other one. I asked him about that, he said yeah, I noticed that, meant to change it... He's been climbing on them for several months. He's a character.

Nother crane job tomorrow, I will post about the pads when I get some meaningful input. Maybe tom., maybe 3 weeks!?

I stood in them, they feel like shit as they came. I'm guessing I need to bend them, to make fit my leg perfectly.

Properly adjusting the lengths will make a huge difference. Might as well complain about how your car handles when you have an underinflated tire.

Pardon if this is too obvious, but it needs to be said ... wear your PPE if you bend them to fit ... they won't like being bent too often.

+1 on getting the length right

You must have more muscle on your legs. I bent mine nice nice with my vice. They mold to my leg pretty perfectly, felt nice standing there in them. We'll see tomorrow, have about 6 hours of spur climbing, 8 hrs on the weekend, and big assed two dayer next week.

Where was that bucket truck!:)

I can't help it that you made that mistake, Butch. Anyway, you're the only climber in the THouse who dislikes Gecko CF spurs, so what does that say about your ideas, huh?

:P

;)

The caddies are bulky, but the worse thing is they aren't angled. The angle makes all the difference in the world.

And I haven't seen a single climber sporting those CF geckos - do we even have anyone here with them? Besides Willie?

I tried the caddies on my titanium Buckinghams...I couldn't stand the rattle. Every step sounded like a horse on pavement with a loose shoe.

Geckos here. Had them for about 6ish years. Nothing else comes close Comfort wise. Caddies come 2nd for me. A lot of comfort issue can be resolved to some degree by correct adjustment & good boots
