Wow. All of a sudden Russia seems a little rougher than I imagined it?

I'm not looking to shoot, get shot, rape or get raped, or generally be harassed in any way when I head out for a bite to eat at a restaurant.

I blame management.

I haven't been to Toronto in about 28 years. It was awesome back then, and my dad still exclaimed on how big it was compared to when he grew up.

I bet it's a little different now.

Is it difficult to travel between Russia and the United States?

Agreed, Wikipedia is great. I've never ponied up any dollars for them though, npr either. One of these days I'll donate...

For the amount I use it, no way I'd feel good about not paying.

I give then 50$ every year.

50 per year seems reasonable. They'd have a load of cash if all users gave that much!

The Paulie thing was awesome :thumb:

And believable too, MB, imo. All the wacky stuff we see on the internet, a groundie holding up a climber wearing a harness is nothing!

apparently the guy was just starting out, still learning the ropes

Nice work TreeMonkey!

Too many stubs for my comfort, but you sure got it done.

Keep em comin mate.

Jomo

Yes, two tie-ins/ ropes. Seems like the stubs might be to catch you if you slip. If you slip, stubs can break bones. Maybe you're trying to cut away from one rope/ tie-ins point.
If you can afford a camera, you can afford protecting your life.

I suggest a choking system to provide fall-arrest.

Keep them coming.

It seems that a tie is not the weakest element here. Once in 2004 I fell down together with a tree from 38ft. Since that time I can speak English and allways use only one tie

Oh, I didn't break any bone that time, but the sound of my felt body was impressible. Also there was not any helmet on my head.
